old school vs new school

I absolutely LOVE music. I also LOVE technology, however for the past few years I've managed to combine the two loves. It all started when i went over to my granny Phyllis' house. She had been going through some things in the attic and found a few records she thought i would like. The records were Lynyrd Skynyrd.: One more from the road, Cerrone IV (some funky disco dude), and Peter Frampton. I was like hell yea granny I'm about to go and buy a record player. I went on ebay and found a small, retro looking record player and purchased it. When the player finally came i put on some skynyrd and absolutely loved the sound records make. The sound is scratchy and not anywhere close to the clarity of a mp3. records do have a realness of sound that will make you think the band is playing right beside you. I now have a crosley 300 dollar record player with wireless speakers and a record collection with 100+ records consisting of classic rock and old country. I love them!!!
