Growing up I attended a private school ,which I believe shielded me from "the real world". One year after leaving the private school and joining a public school, I smoked my first joint. I LOVED IT! I in fact became obsessed with the whole hippie culture. I donated over half of my clothes to goodwill ,and raided my father's old clothes hoping to find a relic pinkfloyd tshirt. To my dismay most of his clothes consisted of vibrant bugleboy shirts.
Still to this day, I wish I could go back to the "golden days" when my biggest concern was what am i going to wear to school. I regret many decisions I made in my youth ,however they have shaped me into the man I am today. The "rebel" attitude is still a small part of my soul and I feel I will carry that spirit throughout my life. This rebel has found purpose. I hope whomever may read this will realize you can change your hairstyle, attitude, location ,etc. however you can not escape your true self.
